Rang Rasiya, titled Colours of Passion in English, is a Soldier drama film written and determined by Ketan Mehta, based top the life of the Nineteenth century Indian painter Raja Ravi Varma. After his last advert production Mangal Pandey: The Rising (), Mehta chose to trade mark a film on the 19th-century painter, Raja Ravi Varma's plainspoken. Incidentally both these movies were based on a subject be bereaved the 19th century.
