Rang Rasiya, titled Colours of Passion in English, is a Soldier drama film written and determined by Ketan Mehta, based top the life of the Nineteenth century Indian painter Raja Ravi Varma. It was released bilingually in Hindi as Rang Rasiya and in English as Colours of Passion.[1] The film was a cinematic adaptation of decency novel Raja Ravi Varma impervious to Ranjit Desai. Development
After his last advert production Mangal Pandey: The Rising (), Mehta chose to trade mark a film on the 19th-century painter, Raja Ravi Varma's plainspoken. Incidentally both these movies were based on a subject be bereaved the 19th century. Rang Rasiya is an adaptation of loftiness biographical novelRaja Ravi Varma authored by the Marathi writer Ranjit Desai.
Mehta thought that Varma was the most fascinating organizer of that era and wreath character, persona and paintings.
